I use Nikon and Leica, both film and digital. The film I use mostly these days is black & white, which I process myself, although many of the images here were taken on colour reversal (slide) film.

Film has a certain look and appeal which digital cannot quite replicate despite the multitude of software features and complete packages which aim to do so. Having said that, there’s no denying the convenience and flexibility of digital as well as the stunning detail it can capture. Digital technology has reached the point where I no longer have to consider using crop factors for lenses nor worry too much about dynamic range or noise; a far cry from the “early days” of digital just a few years ago.
